Hahaha, a professor at Midwestern sent us a fun Happy Spring email including a funny picture attached. It made me laugh, so I felt like I had to share it. Here it is:
Hehe, how will the kids find easter eggs in this snow?
Sure, there's snow on the ground, but at least the sun is shining brilliantly today. It's pretty nice.
Last night was a lot of fun despite the freak snow storm too. Ryan and I went into the city to visit Dave and Kelli. We sat around and caught up with what's been going on in our lives...over a cup of tea and rice krispie treats! After that, we helped with some furniture moving. I may have used some DO OMM skills to hook up the TV again using my hands to determine where the wires must go. Hehe. Afterwards, we went out for dinner at Joy Yees, where we met up with Leo, Stephen, Ashley, and a bunch of asian girls from California. The vegetable fried rice was great as usual. After dinner, we went to some place called Hot Chocolate for dessert, but it was too expensive, so I did not get anything there. Then we all went to Sound Bar for some clubbing. Unfortunately, the bouncer wouldn't let me in because I was wearing sneakers. Oh well. Not wanting to keep my friends from having fun at the club because of silly me and my fashion problem, I just took a cab back to Dave and Kelli's and just spent the night there after watching some Oprah and chilling. It was nice...always a pleasure hanging out with Delli.
I feel like I learned so much from this visit...about life and so on. Delli are amazing, and I am very glad to know them...to have friends like these after so long. It was a very inspiring visit, I must say.
I am sampling some shared music from a friend via iTunes and Simplify Media right now. (Yay for Headlights!) This is such a cool way to share music with your friends. Finding new songs and sounds is a bit of a hobby of mine..there are an infinite number of possibilites of arrangements...and when you combine them with a TV show, video game, movie, mood, or whatever, the harmony of it all can be a beautiful thing. I totally recommend getting Simplify Media. Get it now and share music with me! (sn = sachin417)
Okies, I suppose I should study for this exam on Monday, no? It is pathetic how much I have lost my motivation with academically related things ever since I got accepted into med school. Well, time to snap out of it and make sure I at least pass my classes this quarter.
Gator ya'll ators.
3 Things I Am Thankful For
- I am thankful for music...listening to music can be such an invigorating experience
- I am grateful for Delli...thank you for letting me stay at your place that night. Your company was much appreciated.
- I appreciated the fact that some things never change
